CMM
A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a measurement device capable of measuring the three-dimensional geometry of a physical object by sensing points on the surface of the object. A pressure sensitive touch probe is used to gather point locations in terms of a Cartesian coordinate system (a three-axis system measuring X, Y, Z coordinates). A point cloud is generated from the measured points and processed into usable data. With this technology ETI INC. has the ability to measure a wide array of features with pinpoint accuracy.
